Clinical Supervision Opportunities
Know that while we are helping you fulfill licensing requirements to become a licensed behavioral health professional, you will be helping our Whatcom County counseling practice carry out its mission of creating a community of healing. We offer training opportunities with diverse populations; your caseload will include 15+ clients per week.
Compensation: Counselors fulfilling licensing requirements must work under the direction of an approved supervisor for a set number of hours. In lieu of compensation, TouchStone provides three hours of complimentary supervision per week for those who are earning credentials. We also pay licensing expenses such as application and testing fees, and transcript analysis if necessary.
Associate licensed counselors at TouchStone have access to free weekly consulting groups with supervisory counselors, and a monthly continuing education/didactic training program with the Touchstone team.
In addition, you can attend a monthly potluck with the Touchstone team. All staff has access to our break room, pantry, refreshments, coffee and tea.
Team members at TouchStone BHC must pass a rigorous background screening. We are also a drug-free workplace.
